Magnesium Spinel Ferrites Development for FDM 3D-Printing Material for Microwave Absorption

The magnesium nanosized ferrite powder with formula MgFe2O4 was synthesized via a pyrochemical sol–gel glycine–nitrate method and annealed consistently at temperatures of up to 1300 °C. samples’ microstructure studied by SEM XRD methods. According the results studies, increase in nanoparticles size from about 15 nm micron-sized particles observed when increasing annealing temperatures. DC electrical conductivity also clearly shows change conduction behavior samples increased calcination electromagnetic microwave properties for 1200 °C temperature were composites paraffin matrix produced magnetic filler mass concentration 40% 50%. filament polymer polylactic acid prepared FDM 3D-printing process their microwave-absorbing investigated. application developed PLA–MgFe2O4 fabricating components demonstrated.
